William L. Haralson & Associates, Inc. (WLHA) is an economics consulting firm offering specialized pro­fessional services in real estate and land use economics, finance, and concept planning to both private and public clientele. WLHA was founded on the principle of providing carefully-tailored service to clients on an individual basis. The principals are experienced pro­fessionals who have worked together as a team for many years. Based in Dallas, Texas, the WLHA staff is actively engaged on assignments throughout the country and abroad.

·        Bill has twice been awarded “Industry Leader of the Year” by the World Waterpark Association.

·        He was a charter inductee into the World Waterpark Association’s Hall of Fame.

·        He has served on the Board of Directors of the World Waterpark Association.

·        For 20 consecutive years, Bill has moderated the World Waterpark Association’s Development Workshop.

·        In 2002, Bill was co-moderator of the World Waterpark Association’s Waterpark Resort Workshop.

·        Bill was editor and primary contributor in the creation of the World Waterpark Association’s “Developers Reference”.

·        Bill has written more than 50 articles relating to the water park industry

·        Bill was co-author of the only college text ever written regarding the methodology for conducting market and financial feasibility studies for water parks and other recreation facilities.

·        Since 1974, Bill has conducted more than 1,000 studies for water parks and other aquatic facilities.  Nearly half of these studies were conducted for public sector clients.  A partial listing of these studies is presented at the end of this section.
