Bill Haralson is the founder and president of William L. Haralson & Associates, Inc. (WLHA), an economics consulting firm that specializes in feasibility studies and master planning for gated attractions, including theme parks, water parks aquariums, museums and fairs. Mr. Haralson founded WLHA in 1981. Prior to founding WLHA, he worked with Economic Research Associates for 10 years, Larry Smith & Company for 2 Years and Howard Needles Tammen & Bergendoff for 3 years.
Since founding WLHA, Mr. Haralson has conducted over 1,000 studies for clients in the private and public sectors, in the U. S. and abroad. Most of his assignments have involved market and financial feasibility studies, and, many cases, master planning. A number of Mr. Haralson’s assignments have related to park planning. In recent years, Mr. Haralson has undertaken such assignments at Ray Roberts Lake, Lake Alan Henry, Lake Bryant, Possum Kingdom Lake and Lake Bryan.
In addition to his park planning experience, Mr. Haralson has served a number of amusement parks in the private sector. These clients include Six Flags Corporation, Disney, Wet ‘n Wild, Worlds of Fun, Raging Waters, Lion Country Safari, Silver Dollar City and many more.
